Jasjote Grewal

After qualifying as a Solicitor in 2010 with Hempsons, a specialist health and social care law firm, Jasjote went on to pursue roles encompassing research, service delivery and advisory work across Europe, always at the intersection of health, law and ethics. She has worked across private practice, academia and public sector organisations.

Jasjote was previously a Research Fellow in Biolaw at the Centre for Ethics and Law in the Life Sciences in Germany, focusing on domestic and comparative health law, policy and practices. She provided expertise in the context of transnational scientific research projects, particularly in relation to genomics, stem cell research, and paediatric research. Prior to joining LDMH Partners, Jasjote served as a Legal and Ethics Specialist at BBMRI-ERIC, a European biobanking research infrastructure. As part of her role, she was responsible for developing and delivering ethics and legal services for biobanks and biomedical researchers across Europe, and providing guidance on a wide range of ethics and legal matters. She was also an Ethics Reviewer for EU-funded projects.

Jasjote holds a Law degree from the University of Warwick and Masters in Ethics from the University of Strasbourg.
